Ryan Scharoun

Ryan Scharoun was born in upstate New York into a family of doctors and lawyers. He grew up playing sports in central Florida, where his father worked for the space program. While attending Florida State University, a speeding ticket sent Ryan to comedy traffic school and it was this unlikely setting where his love for acting began. He went on to start an improv troupe and earned a minor in Theatre. Since then, a lot has changed. Ryan has carried a movie as sports agent Rob Decker in Hallmark's Ring the Bell and held his own in such TV comedies as I'm Sorry, I Feel Bad and Speechless (opposite Minnie Driver). He has recurred on both the Young and the Restless and General Hospital, playing a nefarious orderly doing Heather Webber's bidding in the latter. Most recently, Ryan recurred on For the Love of Jason, playing Laila Odom's love interest. He is repped by DPN.
