    • Natasha Bassett

      Natasha Bassett was born in Sydney, New South Wales. She went on her first audition at 14, landed the lead role in the Australian Theatre for Young People's production of "Romeo and Juliet", and has never looked back, moving on to study, write, and perform at the National Institute of Dramatic Art. This led to Natasha performing under the artistic direction of Cate Blanchett in Sydney Theatre Company's stage production of "Bookends". Natasha landed the lead in the MTV film, Dungoona (2009), and appeared on several Australian television series (Rake (2010), Wild Boys (2011), Cops LAC (2010)), while attending classes. After graduating high school, she appeared in P.J. Hogan's film, Mental (2012), alongside Toni Collette and Liev Schreiber, and traveled to Paris to play the lead in the feature, The Last Goodbye (2013). At 19, she was awarded a screenwriting scholarship from the ArtStart Screenwriters Program, where she wrote and directed her short film, Kite (2013). The acclaimed short was featured in the Rhode Island International Film Festival, Balinale International Film Festival, and the Big Bear Lake International Film Festival. Natasha moved to New York City, studied at the Atlantic Acting School, and relocated to Los Angeles for the NBC series, Camp (2013). Shortly after landing, she booked WBTV sitcom NO PLACE LIKE HOME and made her scene-stealing debut as 50s era starlet Gloria DeLamour in The Coen Bros' HAIL CAESAR! with George Clooney, Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum. Natasha continued to land several film roles in the United States starring in thrillers, HOUSE BY THE LAKE, THE PALE DOOR, DESOLATE, SPINNING MAN, opposite Guy Pearce, Pierce Brosnan and Minnie Driver, and indie drama KATIE SAYS GOODBYE with Mary Steenburgen. Her latest projects include comedy film SPY INTERVENTION, ABC series OPERATION BUFFALO and the upcoming 12 MIGHTY ORPHANS with Luke Wilson, Martin Sheen and Robert Duvall. Natasha is working towards her physics degree through Harvard's Online Program. She speaks fluent French and received the Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award for her survival trips and community service throughout Australia.

In The Black Russian (2013) Natasha traveled to India to shoot the title role of the multi-layered Francesca, a Russian ex-patriot caught up in a deadly game of love. Mockbuster Paranoid Activity 2 (2011) starred Natasha in a battle against an Alaskan poltergeist. She was the swimsuit winner in the Mrs. World contest and appeared as Sasha the secret agent on Days of Our Lives (1965). She also appeared in Meet the Spartans (2008) and (as herself) in Battle of the Bods (2008). She had the chance show her comedic talents doings sketches for a season of Spike TV's MDN (2004) and on Jimmy Kimmel Live! (2003). Natasha co-produced Death of Evil (2009) and Vampiro (2009). In 2012 Natasha released Live In Your World, an EP of her own brand of pop-electronica music.
