Philips' ability to imitate accents and actors was what brought him to the attention of his drama teacher at school who urged him to take up the arts as a profession. Philips has broadened his talents in the creative field to writing, and is also one of the most popular young 1st Assistant Directors in the UK-his attention to detail, energy, vibrant nature and passion of the arts attracting projects with some of the biggest names in the industry such as; Idris Elba, Stanley Tucci, Stormzy, Tom Jones, Jamie Flatters, Arrdee, Burnaboy, Slick Rick, Giggs, FKA Twiggs, Jorja Smith, Daniel Fletcher, John Reno, Gary Lineker. His earliest Assitant Director credits comes in 2019 which implies this is still very early on into a bright career.
