Victor Manuel Turpin was born into a diverse family in Medellin, Colombia. His father Victor Turpin, was an Afro-Colombian, well- known baseball personality and his native country and his mother a Colombian Spanish European descendant. As a teenager, Victor began performing with choirs and cover bands in his native city Medellin. With a repertoire ranging from American pop/rock to Colombian popular music. Victor's love of music led him to perform in some of the city's most respected venues. He also began his acting career, appearing in some of Columbia's most beloved telenovelas. After graduating from college, with a Graphic Design and Marketing degree, Victor moved to Los Angeles to pursue his artistic career. Since moving to Los Angeles, Victor has landed roles in both film and TV. He can be seen starring alongside Mel Gibson and Cole Hauser in the upcoming feature, "PANAMA". Victor won accolades for his role in the hit NBC drama, "SHADES OF BLUE" alongside Jennifer Lopez. He also was seen in a pivotal role in the relaunch of the ground-breaking TV show, "WILL & GRACE", in a memorable episode that allowed him to represent his community. With such a multi-faceted and talented background, Victor was invited to be a judge in the NBC-UNI Short Film festival in 2018, which focused on bringing diversity to the film industry by giving minorities a platform to showcase their talent as filmmakers. Other notable credits include roles in the Netflix film, "MURDER MYSTERY" with Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler, and "MA" starring Octavia Spencer. He can also been seen in numerous TV appearances such as "SEE DAD RUN" (Nickelodeon), "HAPPILY DIVORCED" with Fran Dresher, (TV Land), the comedy "KILLING HASSELHOFF", and the thriller, GREENLIGHT, to name a few. During his time in Los Angeles, Victor has amassed a career spanning TV, Film, Stage, and New Media. With a commitment and passion to diversity and representation, Victor hopes to continue expanding his artistic reach for years to come, following the path of other latin/imigrant artists that came before him and trying to open new paths for the generations to follow.

Victor Varconi
Handsome Hollywood character player Victor Varconi was born into a farming family on the Hungarian/Rumanian border. Christened Mihály Várkonyi, his career, following training at Budapest's commercial college and dramatic school, thrived for a time on the Transylvanian stage, where he played leads in such productions as "Liliom" at the Hungarian National Theatre in Budapest. His rising popularity as a matinée idol led to film roles, and he made his debut in Sárga csikó (1914) ["The Yellow Colt"]. He had changed his marquee name to the more internationally friendly Michael Varkonyi by the time he branched out into German/Austrian co-productions such as Arme Violetta (1920) ["Camille"] opposite Pola Negri. In 1924, during Europe's constant political upheaval, Varconi arrived on American soil and sought fame and fortune as a Hollywood actor. Based on his exceptional work as the "Angel of the Lord" in the German/Austrian film Sodom und Gomorrha (1922), Cecil B. DeMille gave him his American film debut opposite established star Leatrice Joy in Triumph (1924), billed now as Victor Varconi. He proceeded to work for DeMille on a number of silent films, including Changing Husbands (1924), Feet of Clay (1924), The Volga Boatman (1926) and The King of Kings (1927) as Pontius Pilate. Elegant and impeccably mannered in style and nature, Varconi went on to share the screen with some of silent film's loveliest and most talented ladies, including Agnes Ayres, Marie Prevost, Jetta Goudal and Phyllis Haver. Of note is his portrayal of cuckolded husband Amos opposite Haver's flashy jailbird Roxie Hart in the silent Chicago (1927). His last major silent role was that of Lord Horatio Nelson in The Divine Lady (1928) co-starring Oscar-nominated Corinne Griffith as Emma (Lady) Hamilton. The Hungarian Varconi had a decent voice for sound but his noticeably thick accent completely altered the course of his career. Instead of romantic leading man status, he regressed slightly to suave ethnic character roles -- often playing foreign or royal dignitaries, continental cads or cultivated villains. The forced move probably added years to his Hollywood life. World War II utilized his talents playing nefarious Axis commanders in spy intrigue and war dramas. In The Hitler Gang (1944) he was quite skillful portraying real-life Nazi bigwig and Adolf Hitler confidant Rudolf Hess. Varconi also appeared in many of DeMille's sound epics, such as The Plainsman (1936) (as an Indian chief), Reap the Wild Wind (1942), Unconquered (1947) and Samson and Delilah (1949). As his film career faded, Varconi turned more and more to stage work and radio writing. Among his Shakespearean theatre endeavors were roles in "Hamlet," "Romeo and Juliet," "Antony and Cleopatra" and "Richard III." He also moved occasionally into TV in the 1950s, then retired. Varconi published his memoirs, "It's Not Enough to Be Hungarian", shortly before suffering a fatal heart attack at age 85 in 1976.
Victor Varnado
Victor Varnado grew up in Huntsville, Alabama, later moving to Minneapolis, where he worked with the local improvisation troupes ComedySportz MN, The Bad Mamma Jammas and several regional theater companies, before landing his first role in the Big River Productions film Full Moon Rising (1996), playing a copy clerk. Soon after, his role in Giraffe Films' "Kids Adventures in Oz" spurred him on move to New York and to pursue an acting career. His first "big break" came when he landed a role in Elton John's music video "Recovering Your Soul". Shortly after, he starred in Forensic Films' Julien Donkey-Boy (1999) with Ewen Bremner, Werner Herzog and Chloe Sevigny. He was subsequently cast in Universal's feature film End of Days (1999), starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, which was released in November 1999. He co-stars in Eddie Murphy's space-age comic thriller, The Adventures of Pluto Nash (2002), released nationally on August 16, 2003. Winner of the Most Valuable Performer award in the 2001 Montreal Just For Laughs Improv Championship, and bronze medallist in the 2002 Comedy Central Laugh Riots National Stand-Up Competition, Varnado can currently be seen as Otis, an outrageous urban comic, in the independent film _Hacks (2001)_. Showing in the New York International Film Festival playing in Los Angeles, "Hacks" is now an official selection for The Milan Film Festival. Varnado is a member of Chicago City Limits, New York¹s longest running comedy improv theater company for which he writes and direct as well as performing regularly as a stand up comedian.
